[MKBD 2022] FILCO Majestouch 2SC: ASAGI design in Fullsize and TKL

With the Majestouch MINILAR-R, FILCO presented the first keyboard in the popular ASAGI color combination. Now the manufacturer is adding a second model, which goes by the name of "Majestouch 2SC" and is available as a full-size and TKL variant. The brand-new keyboard is characterized by the light-blue plastic frame in Japanese design and is rounded off by keycaps in the colors "Asphalt Gray" and "Sky Gray".

The two-tone PBT double-shot keycaps, which are injection molded, prevent the keys from wearing out quickly and grant abrasion resistance, stability, and years of use without quality loss due to the material.

For more ergonomics and comfort, the non-slip mounting feet and attached stands on the bottom of the keyboard. The integrated USB cable offers plug-and-play functionality for Windows operating systems and thus enables a user-friendly and uncomplicated start. Besides an additional PS/2 adapter, a keycap puller and other extra caps are also included.

In addition to a WIN-Lock key, the robust keyboard also has multimedia keys that can be activated by FN key combinations. Above the Num pad are additional LEDs, which are equipped with graphic diffusers to be gentle on the eyes. Furthermore, the FILCO Majestouch 2SC masters anti-ghosting and N-key rollover for all keys.

The keyboard appears in two different design variants: Users can choose between the standard full-size format with 104 keys or the slim TKL variant with 87 keys.

Thanks to the large selection of high-quality and durable CHERRY MX switches, the Majestouch 2SC can be selected as desired. Interested parties can choose between CHERRY MX Brown (tactile), MX Blue (tactile and acoustic), MX Red (linear), and MX Silent Red (linear and silent). The differences between the individual switches are made clear by their respective switching characteristics and actuation force. The range extends from 45 to 60 centinewtons. Which switch fits best depends on the preferred typing feel.
