MKBD 2021: ASUS ROG X CHERRY MX GIVEAWAY [WEEK 04]

In the fourth week of our Mechanical Keyboard Day 2021 celebration, we're giving away two Asus ROG Falchion. Not only is this the manufacturer's first compact keyboard in the 65-percent form factor, but it's also the first wireless keyboard of the ROG line that connects to the PC using the included 2.4 GHz USB dongle.

65 PERCENT FORM FACTOR, 100 PERCENT FUNCTIONALITY FOR GAMING

Thanks to the innovative two-way cover and cleverly placed keys, the compact Asus ROG Falchion offers enough space for precise mouse movements and even dedicated arrow keys for gamers and content creators. 

However, the ROG Falchion's biggest innovation is on the left side of the case. On the outer edge, another input method has been creatively integrated. A touch-sensitive bar is located there, which regulates the volume, activates macros or triggers other functions via intuitive taps and swipes. In addition, the current function of the touch bar as well as the battery charge level can be read from the LEDs. 

DUAL CONNECTION MODES AND UP TO 450 HOURS OF BATTERY LIFE

The battery life amounts up to 450 hours without activated RGB lighting (30 hours with active RGB), the communication works via an included USB dongle. The battery is charged via a detachable USB-C cable. During the charging process, the ROG Falchion remains usable. 

The keyboard's practical and functional design is rounded off by the included plastic cover. It can be used as a protective cover to keep the ROG Falchion safe during transport. Alternatively, the keyboard can be placed inside the cover to use it as a frame and slightly lift the keyboard.

Another highlight: the keys are made of durable PBT double-shot keycaps that offer a high-quality feel. However, the switch is the heart of any mechanical keyboard, as the characteristics of the switch define the typing feel. To give users a choice based entirely on their individual preferences, Asus offers the ROG Falchion with our MX Red, Brown, Blue and Speed Silver.
