Just like its predecessor, Corsair has equipped the K68 LUX RGB with reliable, linear CHERRY MX RGB Red switches. These are ideal for fast typing and gaming thanks to a low actuation force of 45 centinewtons and a pre-travel of only two millimeters. The keyboard is also equipped with per-key RGB illumination, which can be configured to your liking with the Corsair Utility Engine software. In addition to predefined colors, this software also offers several dynamic light effects. It's even possible to program individual key macros with the Corsair Utility Engine, allowing users to customize the keyboard to their heart's content.

Dedicated volume and multimedia controls allow adjusting the sound without interrupting the game or using complicated keyboard shortcuts. The K68 LUX RGB also has a Windows key lock to prevent accidentally swapping out of games. Full support for anti-ghosting and Full-Key rollover ensure precise input: every keystroke, even complicated key sequences, is reliably and precisely detected and forwarded to the operating system. To facilitate long gaming sessions, Corsair includes a detachable palm rest.
