We're ushering in a new era in mechanical keyboards: The CORSAIR K100 AIR WIRELESS RGB is the first mechanical keyboard for desktop use that relies on our MX Ultra Low Profile switches. At its thinnest point, it's only an incredible 11 millimeters high.

With the brushed, high-quality aluminum frame, CORSAIR has created a minimalist, streamlined design that's ideal for gamers, content creators, and streamers who value a discreet yet powerful setup.

CORSAIR also offers highly flexible connectivity options. The K100 Air allows you to connect up to five devices in three different ways. Let's start with the integrated SLIPSTREAM WIRELESS connection, which ensures latencies of less than one millisecond during wireless operation on a PC or Mac to meet the high demands of gamers.

Alternatively, switching to integrated Bluetooth 4.2 significantly increases the range of applications since, among other things, pairing with up to three devices is also possible - such as with your tablet, workstation or laptop. Both wireless technologies transmit the signals with secure AES 128-bit encryption.

The third option is connecting over a detachable, sleeved USB 3.0 cable. CORSAIR's AXON hyper-processing technology ensures a hyper-polling rate of 8,000 hertz, which enables up to eight times faster transmission of your inputs for fast-response gaming.

The built-in lithium-ion polymer battery is also charged via USB, providing up to 50 hours of runtime when the RGB backlight is active or up to 200 hours when it is deactivated. This means you can confidently play wirelessly for over a week with one battery charge.

Switching between connections is done easily and quickly at the touch of a button, allowing for seamless multi-tasking. Four fully programmable macro keys can be programmed with complex key sequences, actions, or launching applications. Not to forget a dedicated media control with a textured aluminum volume roller that is also programmable, giving you convenient control over multimedia content.

All key and lighting settings can be done via CORSAIR's intuitive iCUE software and saved in up to 50 profiles directly to the K100 AIR's eight megabytes of onboard memory. This means that settings are retained even when switching to other devices.

Now let's move on to the component that made this thin height possible, our mechanical MX Ultra Low Profile switches. With an absolute height of only 3.5 millimeters, they are, in fact, crucial to the super-thin form factor of the K100 AIR. They also provide responsive and reliable input with the comfortable typing feel of a mechanical keyboard.

On the K100 AIR WIRELESS RGB, Corsair integrates the Tactile variant of our MX Ultra Low Profile, which offers a tactile typing feel with no audible click. Responsive inputs are enabled by the short pre-travel of just 0.8 millimeters, with an actuation force of 65 centinewtons. Since the total travel of the switch is 1.8 millimeters, this results in an ergonomic overtravel of one millimeter and, ultimately, the familiar typing feel of mechanical keyboards that we all love so much.

Our MX Ultra Low Profile Tactile design allows the SMD LEDs to be placed directly under the switches. The polymer components of the ULP are translucent, which allows for intense and even illumination of the keys. The CORSAIR K100 AIR WIRELESS RGB also offers an automatic function to adjust the brightness to various lighting conditions independently.
