With the MX 10.0, CHERRY doesn't just unveil its first own keyboard with the MX LOW PROFILE RGB, but also demonstrates how impressively flat a keyboard with these switches can be. In addition, the manufacturer has outfitted this keyboard with RGB lighting, a high-quality housing with an aluminium cover, and a special stand with an automatic folding function. CHERRY MX 10.0 IN DETAIL

The MX 10.0 is a premium keyboard that is a perfect companion not only for gamers, but also for frequent writers in everyday office life. Thanks to its flat design and the quick actuation of the LOW PROFILE switches, input is quick and precise. CHERRY includes an aluminium travel case with the keyboard, which provides appropriate protection when travelling and guarantees a unique experience when you first unpack the box. In addition, the model offers full RGB lighting with up to 16.8 million colours, a detachable USB cable and, of course, N-key rollover and anti-ghosting.

DESIGN AND ERGONOMICS

The MX 10.0 relies on an aluminium top cover, which provides stability and a premium feel. By using the MX LOW PROFILE switches, the keyboard achieves a very low overall height of just 22 millimetres. On the rear side the keyboard features a foldable stand which elevates the keyboard at an ideal angle to prevent wrist fatigue. The highlight: when the keyboard is lifted, the stand folds in automatically. The package is rounded off by the sturdy, flat keycaps, which ensure a clean look.

LIGHTING AND CHERRY UTILITY SOFTWARE

The MX 10.0 offers full RGB lighting with up to 16.8 million colours, configurable for each individual key. Using the free CHERRY Utility software, it is possible to create complex macros and save them directly to the keyboard thanks to the eight megabytes of onboard memory. Furthermore, individual lighting effects can be created, previewed, and then stored.

FIRST CHERRY KEYBOARD WITH CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE SWITCHES

The new premium keyboard from CHERRY is impressive in terms of its flat design as well as its fast and reliable performance, in particular thanks to the CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE switches. They are manufactured exclusively in Germany according to the highest standards and therefore contribute to a pleasant, premium typing feel and high durability.

Buyers can choose between MX LOW PROFILE RGB RED and MX LOW PROFILE RGB SPEED SILVER switches. Both are linear switches with an actuation force of 45 centinewtons. MX LOW PROFILE RGB RED switches have a pre-travel of 1.2 millimetres and feature the same characteristics as the classic MX RED switches; for MX LOW PROFILE RGB SPEED SILVER the pre-travel has been reduced to just 1.0 millimetres. This enables even faster input and can give the player a decisive advantage in virtual battles.
